Usage:

The model is used to show the extent of the noise barrier. The model is partly used for visualization and communication with citizens and partly to supply a tender.

The alignment shows the beginning and end of the noise barrier as well as the offset from the road.

The model includes a 3D reference line representing the inner top of the noise barrier.

Only noise barrier over terrain is part of the model, since there is no foundation designed in this stage.

If type of noise barrier is chosen at this point, this might be part of the 3D model (solid or transparent).


 






    3D model describes the outer geometry of the noise barrier and shows the chosen type:

  • Urban noise barrier (solid or transparent)
  • Rural noise barrier (solid or transparent)
  • Nature noise barrier (green or raw).

  • The 3D model shall contain the elements that are included in the actual noise barrier like:

  • Acoustic
  • Foundations shown as a solid box.

  • The model must include the following breaklines:

  • 3D line representing the top center of foundation
  • Two 3D line srepresenting the top outer geometry of the noise barrier.
